School of Arts - ideas competition

SCHOOL OF ARTS is a project developed for the “START” ideas competition in the Shoreditch district.
The design concept unfolds as a sequence of volumes, surfaces and voids that generate a dynamic space and create gathering places for artists, both within the interior common areas and the outdoor courtyards.
Aligned with the urban grid, the building presents itself as a compact volume clad in polycarbonate panels that modulate natural light, creating an atmosphere of inspiration and concentration for the artists who inhabit it.
