Pinocchio Children's Library
The project for Pinocchio’s library is a journey that begins in the darkness of the forest and ends in the prismatic light of the top floor. The path unfolds as a sequence of settings drawn from children’s tales: the house, the forest, the trail, the playground, the castle, the school and the island. These places are narrated through light, materials and furnishings.
The overlapping of volumes echoes the composition of the Villa Garzoni in Collodi, while the facade, formed by a double layer of coloured polycarbonate, sparks curiosity and invites visitors to discover the library’s mysteries.
